What is resistance welding?
Resistance welding is a type of production process that uses electric current to internally connect two sheets of metal together. The resistance of the metal to the electric current causes the heat to be built on site where the current is applied. When the two sheets are gripped together and the current passes through them for a certain period of time, a weld or spot fastening can be created.
