What is a standing roof of seams?
Stand shooting is composed of metal panels that are held on site by small metal clips. The clips are attached to the roof by means of a screw and shocks over the edges of the metal roof panels. Then place a thin metal cover on the joints, where two panels meet at the clips. Thin covers prevent the passage of water, snow and ice between panels, creating a water roof. A properly installed roof seam system often survives other types of roofing. Another advantage of the stagnant roofing of the seam for a commercial building is the ability to choose from many different colors in the design of the roof and demonstrate the significant color of the company in make -up of the building. In a wind or harsh environment, the permanent roof of the seams is also better than other types of roofing with wind and ice much better than traditional rubber or roofing system.
Many modern family houses have a standing seam roof to provide a retro look. Roofresembles the type of roof components located in the 18th century domestic construction. Unlike asphalt shingles, the metal panels of the roof system standing will not rot or blow away during the storm. Occasional re -packaging of the roof to cover any scratches or damage to the sun in the surface will keep the roof in the correct operating condition for decades. While the early panels were made of tin, modern panels are made of much higher materials that offer a more durable finished product.
To apply a metal roof to plywood, it is important to apply the tar and felting barrier between metal and plywood. After the introduction of tar/felting paper and stitching, the next step is to place the first metal panel. The panels are secured would reach the edge into the clip and screw the clip on the roof. Another panel is located next to the first and locked in place by locking into the provisions on the other side of the installed clip. A narrow piece of metal formed into the cover to surprise over two stFire seams and mounting clips of two metal panels that prevent water from accessing the roof.
