What is the process of cement production?
The
cement production process includes several key steps, including raw material preparation, grinding materials together, heating of the newly created clinker in the furnace and completing cement with fine grinding. Some of the main ingredients used to produce cement include limestone, clay, slate, iron and sand. Different manufacturing techniques will use wet or dry grinding, but each process of cement production will culminate in heating and fine grinding to complete the product. Drilling, blasting and overwhelming machines convert mined limestones into fragments of about 0.39 inches (about 1 cm) in diameter, after which it is stored until it is needed. Crushed practices will sometimes be used on other materials, especially if they contain large or irregularly large fragments.
Grinding is a Next step in the process of cement production and can occur in wet or dry forms. Wet grinding includes a combination of all materials into a mill with water and grinding into a porridge. On the other hand, dry grinding processes combine and grind materialLy without water and creates a substance known as feed in the furnace. Both grinding types will provide a material that contains an average particle size of about 75 micrometers. After each process, the materials are further mixed for the correct homogeneity and placed in the storage units.
Heating occurs and takes place in a rotary furnace, which is fired at high temperatures. The furnace warms the clinker, the name of the dried material created after the grinding process until it reaches 2732 ° F (about 1500 ° C). Then the material is sent to the clinker, where the temperature is reduced to a reasonable level, at this point the materiallze stored again.
The cement production process is completed when the cooled jumping is grounded in a rotating finishing mill. The combination of gypsum and limestone will usually be added in small quantities to the heated cement during the last step of grinding, and coloring books can also be added. The fineness of the finished particles will be budE differ depending on individual preferences and cement can reach the level of fineness where it will pass through liquid consumption. Completion of the finishing step means that cement is ready to pack and distribute to builders and consumers.
