As a counselor or psychotherapist, mastering the skills of group counseling is just like mastering the skills of individual counseling. It is basic, necessary, necessary, and necessary.
Fan Fuyi
Group counseling, group counseling, and group therapy are professional helpers. Since they were introduced to mainland China in the early 1990s, they have gradually been used in school systems, medical institutions, business organizations, and the military because of their effectiveness and wide benefits. The justice and community are widely used and developed.
Compared to individual services, the group is more effective because it is very close to people's real life scenarios. It is like a laboratory of life. The attitudes and behaviors learned in the group, changed emotions and cognition, Easier to migrate to real life.
However, an indisputable fact still lies ahead. There are too few professionals who receive training in group psychological counseling systems and master group counseling skills, and urgently need to develop and expand training. Whether it is a psychological counselor who is working or a student who is studying psychological counseling and therapy in school, they need to learn and practice the theory and skills of group work.
This book covers all aspects of the community, including history and theory, research and practice, possible future development, and some life history, multiculturalism, ethical behavior and work taboos, various clinical issues, and more widely applied populations and fields. All chapters are the most advanced in the field of group counseling and group therapy.
A very important consideration in this book is the integration of theory and practice. In the past, related books tended to focus on one side, or on empirical research, or on leadership practices of small groups, without taking into account. This book attempts to integrate them, both in how to lead groups, effective factors within the group, how to measure group processes, and how to organize groups, how to select group members, and how to conduct supplementary exercises and interventions. To help readers discover the great value and power of the community!
