How effective is Ranitidin for Reflux?

The use of ranitidine for reflux is usually very effective in most patients if the cause of symptoms is overproduction of stomach acid. When used for basic spitting for children or adults who have symptoms of heartburn for another reason, it probably will not help at all. For those who have a real reflective disease, this is usually the first choice in medicines because of its efficacy and safety.

There are different types of reflux, and people have often confused what it means. Children who spit a lot can be said to have reflux, but that is not enough to ensure that medicines can be used. If spitting does not cause any pain and does not damage the esophagus, then ranitidine is unlikely to do anything good. It does not prevent spitting caused by a weak or insufficiently developed esophagus sphincter. 6lux is often very effective. Some cases of reflux are caused by the same weak muscle, but excess stomach acid travels up into the neck and causes pain. Over time, this acid canto also damage the esophagus.

The use of ranitidine for reflux is determined as a way to reduce the amount of stomach acid produced. It does not prevent the acid to rise into the throat, so any acid is still present, it will still move freely up until the sphincter is strengthened. Spitting is most common in young children and is usually made according to age.

Often it is difficult to find out which patients have a real acid reflux disease and who have other types of heartburn or reflux. Sometimes doctors prescribe ranitidine for reflux and wait if it has an effect. Those with a real overproduction of acid will generally feel relief within two weeks and often much earlier. If the symptoms do not improve the Witen period of time this usually means that they are caused by another health. Most patients improve with ranitidine if they blame the real reflux disease.

Rannitidin is afterVoed as safe for patients of all age groups. However, it is not recommended for patients to take it unless it is really needed. Those who take this medicine and do not feel relief in symptoms within two weeks should talk to their doctors when choosing another medicine.
