What are the different types of malaria tablets?

There are dozens of antimalarial drugs, each with different side effects, efficiency and safety concerns. These drugs are commonly used for both treatment and for prevention of malaria, potentially deadly, mosquitoes transmitted diseases. Malarone® is a malaria tablet that contains a combination of ATOVAQUON and proguanil, but is expensive compared to other tablets. Chinin is generally less effective, but is often used in areas where malaria disease has developed resistance to other malaria tablets. Chlorochin is one of the safest, safest and cheapest malaria tablets, but falls due to increased resistance. Adult doses can treat and prevent malaria, but is not recommended for the treatment of severe malaria. The baby's doses are only used to prevent malaria and cannot be used in children below £ 22 (10 kg). This medicine is best absorbed when used by oily food and must usually be taken once a day for three days. Side effects malarone® may include headacheY, stomach pain and mild insomnia.

malaria tablets known as quinine are not used to prevent malaria, but are very effective in the treatment of some types of diseases. It was the first medicine to successfully treat plasmodium Falciparum , one of the most dangerous forms of malaria. Now there are malaria tablets more effective than chinin, so it is no longer the defense of the first line for this disease. In addition to the treatment of malaria in some situations, it is regularly used to treat arthritis and lupus. Although it comes in the form of a tablet, it can also be administered in the form of intravenous (IV).

Chlorochin is other antimalalorial drugs that can be administered to children and adults, but unlike Malarone®, the same dose of chlorochin is given regardless of the patient's age. At one point, this medicine was the most widely used drug to treat and prevent malaria. Like chinin, the drug can somewhat suppress the immune system and therefore also afterIt uses to treat some forms of arthritis and lupus. Chlorquin resistance has evolved slowly, but some malaria tribes are so durable that the use of the drug decreases in favor of other malaria tablets. The side effects of chlorochin may include headaches and nightmares, but itching is by far the most common side effect, especially in some races.
