What Are the Different Types of Cyst Excisions?

A cyst is a cystic skin lesion that contains liquids or stickies and cellular components. Cysts generally have a complete cyst wall, located in the dermis or deeper, can bulge on the skin or can only be touched. The appearance is round or oval, and the cysts are sexy and vary in size. Epidermoid cysts, sebaceous cysts, and hair sheath cysts are common. Epidermoid cysts are adherent to the skin and can be moved easily to secondary infection and ulceration. Infected patients first undergo anti-infective treatment, and surgery is performed after the inflammation subsides. Those who are not infected will undergo complete resection, otherwise they will easily relapse.
