The center currently has 200 beds and 150 open beds, equipped with burn emergency green channels, burn 1 department, burn 2 department, intensive care unit, orthopedics department, rehabilitation department, medical beauty department, tissue bank, nutrition room, braces. Professional auxiliary and auxiliary departments such as laboratories, stretch clothing production rooms, image data rooms, burn baths and burn laboratories. The center has the value of suspended bed, Drager ventilator, liposuction machine, grinding machine, electric dermatoscope, blood gas analyzer, bath bed, self-controlled far-infrared therapeutic machine, ultra-low temperature refrigerator, laser photon beauty workstation-Feitun No. 1 and other values More than 11 million yuan of advanced equipment. The center has 1 master tutor, 4 chief physicians, professors, 12 deputy chief physicians, and associate professors. Former director Professor Yang Hongchang was a member of the Burn and Plastic Surgery Society of the Chinese Medical Association and the chairman of the Shanxi Burns and Plastic Surgery Society. The current director, Professor Lei Jin, is an adjunct professor and master's tutor of Shanxi Medical University, a member of the Burn Surgery Society of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Burn Physician Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a vice chairman of the Shanxi Society of Burns and Plastic Surgery, and a vice member of the Burn Branch of the Chinese Metallurgical Medical Association. The center held the third burn plastic surgery conference in North China in 1994. In 2004, it held the National Continuing Medical Education and the First Class Burn Project of the Army and the 2007 Advanced Mongolian Burn Symposium. Received three visits from burn surgery experts from North Korea, the United States, and Israel, and sent four doctors to study abroad for a short period of time. These have promoted the development of the discipline and enhanced the academic status of the burn specialty.

In recent years, the Center has published 140 papers, including 11 Chinese journals of burns and 19 national journals. It has long undertaken clinical teaching tasks of Shanxi Medical University, Shijiazhuang Bethune Medical College, and Datong University School of Medicine.
