Some of the more prominent surgical scars are the result of abdominal or thoracic surgery that cannot be laparoscopically performed. Cardiac surgery and caesarean sections are examples of surgery that leave a distinctive scar of cut. Some surgical procedures that require smaller cuts can sometimes be achieved to reduce the amount of visible scarring. For example, cosmetic surgical slices are often carried out along the hairline where the scarring is less visischirurgules and the hands often use lines along the dlanAs a section of the section in performing surgery for the carpal tunnel syndrome.

When scarring from surgical section, there are no ways to reduce the severity of the scar after healing. Surgical care for wound care is necessary to minimize the appearance of the cut of the cut. Infections and other trauma only delay the healing process and can increase the amount or appearance of scar tissue. The wound closures sometimes affect the way the cut is also heal. Research has shown that the type of bandage used on the surgical wound can reduce the incidence of scar cut. Traditional surgical bandages include sterile gauze, which helps to cover the wound and prevent infection, but does not support healing skin. Dressing made of plastic that compresses an areaSurgical section and promotes healing skin, was developed by a team of scientists at Stanford University.

There are other options for minimizing the appearance of cutting cut, but many cosmetic treatments, including lasers, excision and ointment, are only at least effective if at all.
