What is APAP with codeine?
APAP is a medical abbreviation for acetaminophen, generally known as Tylenol®. APAP with codeine is a general version of this drug, which also contains a narcotic component. This drug is only available as prescription and must be used with care. Medicines that combine them are usually used for short -term relief, for example after an accident or other injury or after surgery. Codein acts as a depressive system of the central nervous system and helps prevent the transmission of signals of pain to the brain.
