What is Brentuximab Vedotin?

Brentuximab Vedotin is a conjugate of antibodies prescribed for the treatment of certain types of cancer, including systemic anaplastic lymphoma with large cells (Alcl) or Hodgkin lymphoma. This drug works by disrupting lymphoma cells and eventually killing them. Patients with ALCL had to have at least one unsuccessful chemotherapeutic regime before subjugating this treatment, and patients with Hodgkin lymphoma had to have either two unsuccessful chemotherapy wheels or one unsuccessful stem cell transplant.
