Indications of extracorporeal shock wave therapy

(1) Bone tissue diseases. 1. Delayed healing of fractures 2. Nonunion of bones 3. Avascular necrosis of the femoral head 4. Calcaneal spurs 5. Heel pain and patellar fasciitis, atrophy of the fat pads of the feet, and heel synovitis.
(2) Chronic injuries of soft tissues. 1. From upper post myofasciitis 2. Outer epicondylitis of humerus 3. Achilles tendinitis, relative indications of calcaneal synovitis, acromion synovitis, biceps longus tendonitis, epicondylitis , Popping hip, tibial tubercle epiphysitis.

Extracorporeal shock wave contraindications

(1) Systemic factors. Patients with severe tenderness who have cardiac pacemakers, those who use anti-immune drugs for bleeding disorders, patients with various tumors, patients with thrombosis, those with immature bone pain, pregnant women, and pregnancy.
(2) Local factors. People with various infections and skin limb ulcers, acute loosening of tendons and fascia with intra-articular exudate, shock wave focus on tibia and spinal cord tissue, shock wave focus on large blood vessels and systemic nerve walking shock wave contraction and bone infection, large bone Defects, greater than 1cm.
