What is the nasal spray?
nasal spray can refer to different types of drugs supplied with a spray nose. They are usually used to help fight the nasal overload, although there are some nasal sprays available on a prescription that serves other purposes. One example is the drug Syntocinon®, which contains oxytocin, chemicals that helps in the production of breast milk and can be used to stimulate more milk production in nursing mothers or to achieve milk faster. Some of the simplest of them, a salt nasal spray, can be used by people suffering from allergies or colds. The use of small salt water to clean the nasal passages can help reduce overload. However, most doctors say it is much more efficient to perform full nasal rinsing than to use sprays like Ocean®.
Most doctors are concluded by SPRAY Decongestants as Afrin & Reg:. These decongestants can work for a short time but are addictive and people can use more than recommendedis. They also have a reflective effect. Although they may initially help overload, it has been shown that the use for more than three days actually increases overload. Doctors recommend using decongestants nasal spray sparse.
Thetypes of prescription nasal sprays come in many different formulations and are usually used to treat allergic rhinitis (sinus overload due to allergies). Some of these sprays such as Flonase®, Nasonex® and Rhinocort Aqua® use steroids to help relieve overload. Like most prescription sprays, these products must be generally used several days before they are fully effective, and must also be used continuously to remain effective.
Anja's type of nasal spray available on prescription is an antihistamine spray called Astelin®. It is similar to antihistamine diffenhydramine (benadryl®) and some people in using toothOto sprays report drowsiness. It is an unusual side effect of steroid sprays and one of the main reasons why people can prefer the use of products such as rhinos, instead of oral antihistamines.
Another product available in the nasal spray is SALALCROM®. This spray only works if you use it before you are exposed to things that cause you allergies. It prevents some cells from producing symptoms after exposure. It can best use people with seasonal allergies who can use the product before it comes out. This is probably the least effective for those who have internal allergies because it is likely to be constantly exposed to allergens.
For many of them, nasal sprays are great alternatives to oral antihistamines, but some say they don't do enough. For example, if you have other allergic symptoms such as itching, hives or asthma, most nasal sprays with these other symptoms will not help much. For multiple symptoms of allergYou can be better with oral antihistamines and can be more effective for colds and flus.
