How is the flood?
The weathering event known as a lightning flood can be particularly dangerous because of its sudden creation and potential for widespread destruction. Television meteorologists routinely broadcast a warning of lightning floods along with a heavy thunderstorm and tornado. Cities located along the rivers or under the dams are particularly vulnerable if the amount of water generated during the storm amazes protective barriers.
There are a number of factors, some natural and some people who can determine whether the storm system will create a flash flood or only a significant amount of rain. One of the factors is the nature of the storm cell itself. For example, a rapidly moving lines of thunderstorms can move in the area so quickly that collisions are absorbed by ground or sewer systems and do not deal with. On the other hand, the slowly moving independent storm system can quickly. A short, intense downburst can be more convenient than a long, slow rain event.
assuming that a slowly moving storm system occurs, which decreases a lot of rain in the area, another factor in the lightning flood is the absorption of the Earth. If the soil is frozen or covered with ice, rainwater will not be absorbed naturally and will continue to look for lower soil. The same applies to urban areas with a significant amount of concrete and asphalt. When the rain is blocked to get into the ground, it will flow towards the sewer systems and natural troughs. If these drainage systems or troughs were amazed, this could lead to floods.
rivers and streams also have a natural level of saturation, and if enough rain drops in a short period of time, the water overflows to the area known as the flood plane. If a player or dam fails during a heavy storm, a destructive lightning flood would be unconnected to something and anyone who lives under it. The flood of this size is often called floods for 100 years or 500 years, mainly because they wouldIt was supposed to be destroyed at this level only once every 100 or 500 years. However, this does not mean that there will be no second flood of the same force in the following year.
In short, there will be a lightning flood, whenever the amount of precipitation during the storm is amazed by natural and artificial drainage and absorption systems and will continue to be born in a low -laid area. This type of flood can occur at any time, so meteorologists often recommend people to stay outside the streets for an intense, slowly moving storm. Further, the drain from storm systems does not have to reach an area for several hours, which means that in some places there is still potential for lightning floods even after the rain.
