What are baseball play -offs?
Like any other professional sport, the baseball season will culminate with the best teams in the league advancing to the season. Baseball play -offs usually start in mid -September and last throughout October, sometime until early November. The best teams from each division, plus one wild card from the American league and one of the National League, advance to the baseball play -off. Each team focuses on a world series in which one team of the American league and one team of the National League competes for the World Champion title. Because there are three divisions and three in the National League in the American league, there are three division masters at each league. This required the creation of a wild card team - a team that won any division, but had the best record among all teams that did not play Play -off. In each league, four Play -off teams are playing the best of five series: The Wild Card Team plays the best record division and the remaining two teams form a second pair. The winner of each series of division continues the Championship series.
Baseball playoffs continue with the Championship League, which is the best of the seven between the two winners in each league of the division series. This is the second step in the baseball play -off to advance to World Series. The Championship League winner is considered to be the league champion and advance to the world series to face the second league champion. During the part of the World Baseball Playoffs, the American League Champion and the National League champion in the Best of Seven series to determine the world champion.
In each series in the baseball play -off, the home team Advantage is for recording. For example, in the division series, one and two play in a team with a better record. The third and, if necessary, the fourth game is played in the team of the team with a poorer record. The fifth game returns to the team of the team with a better record if necessary. In the World Baseball Play -off series, games are similarly distributed between two teams between seven games.
