What are MRE?
Food ready to eat (MRE) are packed food rations created by the US Army, which is used to help soldiers who may not have access to food preparation equipment. MRE can also be distributed as part of packages of help people in the field of disasters, as was the case with the victims of Hurricane Katrina. They can also be part of the stocks sent to refugee camps. They also contain a ration heater that tends to work by adding small water to MRE. This effectively warms entrée and coffee. Most MRE contains about 1200-1500 calories.
The appetizers differ and food research specialists are trying to express the diversity in MRE. Recently developed MREs include dishes like Jambalaya, Fajitas, Omelets, Penne and Manicotti. Traditional meals, such as chisel and roast, are also included in MRE OFFERS.
One does not necessarily have a choice of food and not all who eat MRE, would do it as a choice. In fact, one of the common complaints of MRE that seems to be thatcause a high degree of constipation. MRE developers tried to match this by adding another fiber to the bread or cracker part of the meal. Still many people who eat MRE have given them quite colorful alternative definitions, such as foods that refuse to end or reject food.
part of the MRE development problem is that it must be made for easy portability and conditions that can withstand parachute drops and extreme temperatures. It must also be able to last about three and a half years. Creating a tasty food in meeting these requirements can be difficult.
Interesting discussion that occurs from Hurricane Katrina is the number of people selling boxes of Mresna auction sites such as eBay. It is assumed that MRES distributed to people as a result of a hurricane could really be in stock. Technically, MRE should not be sold, but it is rarely enforced. Until the government provides eBay the laws that kOn a rule, they prohibit the auction of MRE, the place ensures that there has been liability that they are not for commercial sales.
