What are the games x?

games X are an annual competition for the Olympics so -called "Extreme Sports". These sports include skateboarding, BMX, inline skating and snowboarding, as well as a number of variations on every and many other events. The X games were created by Cable Sports Network ESPN in 1995 in response to the growing popularity of these extreme sports. While most of these sports began as young people looking for new and creative things on bikes and records, x games provided a competitive place in which athletes could be timed and judged to determine who was the best. Athletes receive gold, silver and bronze medals for the first, second and third place, as well as at the Olympics. Skateboarding has vert in which athletes are assessed according to tricks closed to the middle of the pipe and street , in which athletes are assessed according to tricks closed to men - -even street settings, which include hills, ramps and ramps. BMX also has vert and street as well as air in which the athlete rides on a big ramp and makes one or two tricks in the air to be assessed. There are also the most clear events such as Street Luge, in which athletes run on their backs on a steep road course - and the accidents are common.

Winter X games were created in 1997 and contain similar variations on skiing, snowboarding and other snow -related sports. Winter X has never agreed about the characters of popularity or attendance in summer X. But inspired by X games, the Olympics began to introduce extreme sports such as snowboarding in 1998. Tony Hawk, Bob Burnist, Bucky Lasek and Andy MacDonald; BMX riders Dave Mirra, Mat Hoffman and Jay Mirna; Motocross Riders Travis Pastrana and Brian Deegan; and snowboarders Todd Richards and Barrett Christy.
