The Mased Lenoth is an arboreal mammal found mainly in the southeastern part of the Brazilian rainforest, near the Atlantic coast. They tend to be between 20 and 30 inches high (50 to 76 cm), which increases them than any other varieties of sloths. These animals have tanned or gray coloring with a bushy mane of black fur on the back of the neck. They are also called "three top sloths" for three connected claws, which are used upside down from the trees. The slot is considered to be endangered, partly due to the destruction of the rainforest and partly due to the predation.

This animal spends virtually all the time hanging in the trees and spends most of the time sleeping. Promise sloths have adapted to very slow metabolism, allowing them to eat very low nutrition, including leaves on which other animals cannot survive. In principle, they take very little energy with food they eat, but spend so much time to sleep that it really doesn't matter.

Slow ground movement of lounges from MASED is very easy for predators such as Jaguars, attacking it, especially if it comes out of its tree. For this reason, animals descend only several times a week, mostly just to urinate and eliminate waste. They often stay in the same tree as long as possible, but if they sometimes decide to find another tree, it also requires to set out on the ground and expose themselves to danger. Experts suggest that animals can swim very well and in fact can move faster in water than they can on Earth. In the trees they grow moss in their hair, which makes them more difficult, and are generally quite safe.

People hunt sloth with meat since antiquity, and although they are now protected by law, experts think there are a significant amount of illegal hunting, and are also massively threatened by the loss of rainforest. Overall, this combination of threats is considered to be the main danger to this species and experts believe that there is sweatEncelial extinction unless something is done fast enough.

Although physically do not look very similar and in terms of lifestyle similarity share very little, sloths are in the same family as ants and Armadillos. This family of animals, known as the Xenarthhra family , is one of the oldest mammal groups. In prehistoric times, Xenarthra was much more diverse and widespread than now.
