What is Nubian goat?

Nubian goat, also known as Anglo Nubian, is a breed of domestic goats developed in England. Some say these goats have an aristocratic appearance with award -winning ears and Roman noses. Although goats in this breed produce less milk than other milk goats, their milk has a butter content of 4 to 5%. The Nosbians are susceptible to diseases common to many goat breed, but generally remain health if they care properly. These are very social, intelligent animals and create excellent pets.

This goat breed is a cross between the old English goat milch and the breeds of rubbing and Nubian from India, Russia and Egypt. Nubian has a long, floppy ears that extend at least 1 inch (2.54 cm) around the mouth. The Roman nose is very distinctive in goat breeds and gives them a very convex profile.
