What is the pareto?

Pareto Graph is a special type of column chart or graph that states values ​​in descending order. More precisely, the most important data starts on the left side of the graph, followed by traffic according to less meaning. This type of graph is named after Vilfredo Pareto, an Italian sociologist and economist who lived from 1848 to 1923. The Bíl Pareto chart is to focus attention on the most important data analyzed and is often used to ensure quality. The left or vertical axis of Pareto's graph usually represents the frequency of what is measured. This axis may represent costs or any other important function as it is analyzed. On the opposite side of the pareto graph is also the right vertical axis, which is used to represent the total cumulative percentage of what is measured. On the horizontal axis between the two vertical axes, the dataros are analyzed into groups, segments, magazines or categories.

Pareto graph is mainly used to analyze quality control problems. An example of this is which types of cars cause the greatest pollution. On the Pareto chart, the types of vehicles with the worst emissions would start on the left and the other worst would be to the right of this. The types of cars known to be a factor in pollution would continue to be given from left to right in descending order.

Pareto graph is basically trying to explain that quality problems can usually be attributed to relatively few factors to be evenly expanded among many. Vilfredo Pareto introduced a principle called "Rule 80/20", which explains in a more specific way. According to the 80/20 rule, 80 percent of quality problems can be added to 20 percent of possible causes. In other words, the most quality problem of the given situation is caused by a small percentage of factors. In the example of cars there would be very few types of cars such as the older model SUV that causes most of the contaminationof it. The Pareto Graph provides an overview of what can be done to overcome quality problems in a number of situations.
