What is Potentilla?
Potentilla is a genus Rosaceae rose. They are commonly called cinquefoily and consist of about 500 different types of permanent, annual and two -year -old herbs. The name of the plant orginate from the medieval Latin word tornementilla , which means "little suffering". This comes from the species of Potentilla Ereta, which is assumed to cure mild stomach pain. Because of their similar appearance, they are also commonly called "barren strawberries" and lack of edible fruit. They often appear in regions that are overcome with an ordinary Heather. The larvae of both butterflies and moths eat leaves as a source of primary food. Mature butterflies often return to feed on nectar. Polish scales of carmine are parasites that absorb nutrients from the roots of the plant. Here comes the cinquefoil , which means "five leaves".
