What is Tetra?
Tetra is a small freshwater fish. There are more than 150 fish species known as tetra, although they do not belong to the same family or family, and often represent only some family or family members. All Tetras, however, belongs to the Charhan Order, which also includes Pirhana, many other types of fish. Tetras come from parts of Africa and South and Central America.
The name tetra comes from the Greek word for "four", because the tetra and other fish of the Charatidae family are characterized by their four fins: caudal, dorsal, anal and fat fin. The fat fins are often considered to be a distinctive feature of tetras, although some species, such as the Emperor Tetra, do not have fat fins. Tetras often have brightly colored stripes on the side and many different colors are available. For example, the imperial tetra is deeply purple if they are maintained in the right lighting conditions, while the Belgian flagship has black, red and yellow stripes. Tetras Bloodin are silver with red finsEMI.
Many types of tetra are popular in freshwater aquariums because they are peaceful, attractive and relatively easy to take care of. Most Tetras can live for about five years in captivity. Tetras of different species will often work in the aquarium and Tetras are a good choice for a community tank because they live peacefully with other fish species. However, they should not be held in the same tank with aggressive fish species. In addition, Tetras should always be held in groups of at least five to ten fish, depending on the species, because they are nature schoolchildren and can be emphasized by life alone.
Neon Tetras is perhaps the most popular type for aquariums. The light -colored fish come from South America, although they are commercially kept in the parts of Asia. Other popular Tetra species for aquariums are also called neon tetra, although they are not closely related. These include green neon tetra, black neon tetra andcardinal or red neon tetra.
