What is blue energy?

Blue energy, sometimes called ocean energy, is the term for the way of making electricity by convergence of fresh and salt water. This energy can be extracted by various means, including tidal power, current power, wave energy, conversion of thermal energy and osmosis. The strength can also be collected by using wind energy associated with the water level-by-ocean. The energy resulting from electricity can be used. The only by -product is brackish water. The brackish water is simply a combination of fresh and salt water, which naturally occurs in the mouth.

This type of energy is only useful in certain geographical areas. The only way to create a different blue energy than in the laboratory is in the mouth where Fresh SH Water River currents and the salty inflows of the ocean meet at the mouth of the river. Although this technology has been understood ever, the production of membranes was too expensive to become a practical energy alternative. Have recently been developed more economicalMembranes that allow Blue Energy technology to begin to be implemented in suitable environments.

In addition to blue energy when it comes to reverse electrodialyization, there is also a company called Blue Energy. This company also provides alternative energy, but their technology is slightly different. The strength generated by companies uses the currents of the ocean tidal waters using a turbine. The turbine is similar to a windmill, except that it works under water. The use of ocean currents is more efficient and predictable than wind energy, so it is a good solution for direct community.

Theenvironmental benefits of society and blue energy are invaluable. Since both technologies are renewable and do not radiate greenhouse gases, the use of this energy, if possible, will help reduce global warming and other consequences caused by fossil fuel burning. Moreover, blue energy does not workIt says many spaces such as energy networks, and ecosystems are not negatively affected because they are for example with mining and drilling.
