What is a race discrimination?

Race discrimination is part of racism and can be said that racism uses race or ethnicity as a criterion for assessing inferiority or superiority of other people. Race discrimination can also be a legal term used to define ways that people may or may not act. For example, the United Nations excludes 'distinction, exclusion, restriction or preferences' that can be based on "race, color, descent or national or ethnic origin".

Other legal efforts created by countries may try to eliminate racism through civil rights laws. In the US, the race should not be to be considered when hiring, and cannot be used to justify higher or lower remuneration, employee departments or to hold different standards. Like many civil rights laws, it is possible to consider not only a race but also other things such as non -discriminatory aspects of employment or treatment. They could include gender, religious background or sexual preferences.

statistics certainly show that racism can be commonly practiced in matters such as hiring and salary amounts, and sometimes even consciously. Some studies have indicated that people can unconsciously express a significant preference for people of their own race and perceive them more positively, and there may also be discrimination of race.

It is also clear that the discrimination of the race is not only covered by color. People can assess others on the basis of shared religion or ethnic background, although in the US there may be the most obvious white versus all other races, there is clear discrimination between minor racial groups. In other countries where there are few minority groups, the problem may be even more pronounced. For example, in Japan there is racial discrimination of Koreans in large quantities. These filters even the Japanese media and the art of formals known as anime and mango, where villains in some of these pieces may haveObvious Korean functions.

Unfortunately, when such a race discrimination exists in a large form, it is difficult to get rid of it, even if it is a clear intention to remove. While the media continue to depict other and especially minority races in an unfavorable way, the subliminal effect of this can be great. This may be the cause of unconscious racism, because the cultural products of this society may constantly contradict legal attempts to change people's thinking.
