What is the reduction?
The reducing is a drug used in the treatment of obesity. It is usually called sibutramine and is sold under several names including Sibutrex, Meridia and Reductil. The drug works by giving the patient a feeling of fullness to reduce food intake. It is known that it is potentially shaping the habit and as such is on the list of limited drugs in the US. Reductil works by blocking a repair, also known as the re-absorption of the neurotransmitter serotonin. The result is a larger amount of serotonin in the brain that was associated with reduced taste. Sibutramine -based drugs were approved in 1997by the food and drug management (FDA). Funded effects may include dizziness, drowsiness, stomach and increased appetite, despite full feelings. There are also concerns about the effects that it has on heart function. In November 2009, the FDA published a statement of a study showing a potential connection between this drug and cardiac events such as heart attack or stroke. Sibutramine -based drugs should not be prescribed to anyone with low -function kidneys or already existing heart problems.
Since January 2010, Retructril and other drugs containing sibutramine already prescribe doctors in the UK. This was in response to the recommendations of the European Healing Agency (EMA), which advocated the cancellation of the drug license in Europe.
