What is Rose Absolute?
Rose Absolute is essential oil extracted from petals Rosa Damascene and sometimes rosa centifolia , also known as Damask Rose and Provence Rose. It differs from oils derived from any of the more than 200 other roses in that it is obtained by extraction of solvent, unlike distillation of steam. These other oils commonly referred to as Rose Otto or Attar of Rose are used for therapeutic purposes. Absolute, on the other hand, are primarily used in the production of cosmetics and perfumes.
Most Rose Absolute is obtained from Damask Rose, which is widely grown in Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, India, India, Russia and recently in China. Of these countries, Bulgaria is the largest producer and exporter. While absolute is sometimes obtained from the province of Rose, which is usually grown in Egypt, Morocco and France, oil extracted from Damask Rose is considered to be a price. Both oils load a handsome tube price. This is because the process of extraction requires up to several thousand pounds of pink petals,To get one ounce of oil.
In addition to the mere volume of raw materials needed for production, there are other factors that control the price of this oil. On the one hand, the harvesting of pink petals itself is demanding to work and requires this work to complete a large number of workers. Not only are rose petals selected by hand, they are also harvested before the sun has a chance to dry the morning dew. Finally, as soon as they are collected, the petals must be processed within hours.
The extraction process involves the use of solvent to insulate soluble agents in a material that includes aromatic compounds, pigments and wax. These agents then undergo a vacuum process to separate them from the initial solvent. This creates a wax material that mentions "concrete", which is then mixed with alcohol. Using low -pressure evaporation, alcohol is removed from the mixture to form the absof it.
Although Rose Absolute is not recommended for therapeutic purposes in terms of internal use, it has several chemical components associated with beneficial effects on health. For example, several studies have shown that Farnesol and Geraniol's antimicrobial substances can inhibit tumor growth in various forms of cancer, including breast, lung and pancreatic cancer. However, these healing properties are usually supplied by non -dull than are formulated in consumer plant means. Other properties attributed to oil include antiviral, antibacterial, astringent, sedative and antidepressant properties.
