What is Ubiquinol?

Ubiquinol is a reduced form of coenzyme, Q10 (Coq10). Coq10 is made in the human body and is needed by all cells for basic functioning. The levels decrease with human age and the level can be exhausted when one suffers from serious diseases such as Parkinson's disease, heart disease and cancer. Coq10 can be obtained in small amounts of foods such as beef, broccoli and fish, but is often supplemented if there is a suspicion of deficiency.
