Who decides who will win the Nobel Prizes?

When Alfred Nobel wrote his will in 1895, he issued a specific recommendation on what bodies would choose and vote on each of the Nobel Prizes. These institutions are largely awarded to Nobel Prizes based on the recommendations of Nobel's recommendations.

No one can nominate for the Nobel Prize. In fact, such nominations require immediate disqualification for the price, at least in that year. Any body that determines the winner for Nobel Prizes has its own discrete nomination and a selection process.
