What is Ridged Band?
Ridged Band is part of the foreskin of the human penis, or a preference known for its rough, wrinkled appearance. Sometimes it is referred to as Taylor's band, after John R. Taylor, a Canadian pathologist and a medical researcher who is known for the extensive research of this anatomical feature and attributed the term "Ridged Band". This is also known for the clinical term "Cingulus rugosus". Taylor's work has made Ridged Band more curious - and controversial - part of the penis anatomy.
Taylor's group is a collection of about eight to 10 ridges. It is considered to be a continuation of frenula, the inner zone of tissue that prevents too far. At the other end of Ridged Band is a smooth tissue area. The whole ancestor consists of mucous membranes or mucous membranes. This was presented at the second International Symposium on Circumcision, which took place in San Francisco from April 30 to May 3, 1991. Five years later, in the subsequent report published in the British magazine Urology , assumed that most of the remaining bands were losthem of circumcision, which is to remove some or all predicts. This 1996 report "PRESTRUS: Specialized Penis Slime and his loss to circumcision" also meant the debut of the term "Ridged Band".
until 2007, Taylor's research led him to the belief that Ridged Band contains a rich collection of nerves that significantly contribute to the reflexes needed to induce ejaculation. In other words, the more foreskin that is removed, the less sensitive penis. However, it is important to realize that the 1991 symposium, where Taylor debuted by his theories, organized the National Organization of Circuit Centers of Information Resources (NocRC), NGOs devoted to the opposition of circumcision.
Taylor's claims are not without his detectives. Member of the Faculty of Oxford University A.M. Viens argued that Taylor used only 22 corpses in his research - a relatively small and insufficient sample size. Taylor himself admits that so farWhat he is persistent in his faith for the importance of the role of Ridged Band in the penile sexual function, further research is needed to determine the scope of such a role.
