What is the function of the circulatory system?

The circulatory system function is divided into two parts. It provides nutrients into the body cells through blood, which is pumped by the heart and transmitted to tissues and cells through the blood vessels. Another function is performed by the lymphatic and immune system. The lymphatic system helps to regulate the composition of the body fluid, while the immune system also helps to get rid of the body of foreign organisms such as bacteria.

The cardiovascular system can be divided into heart, blood and blood vessels. This system carries blood from both the heart and back to it. The blood flowing from the heart transmits oxygen to the body cells and returning blood carries carbon dioxide, which is the waste product of cell activities. The heart is a muscular organ that keeps blood in constant movement to support the life of the body.

There are three types of blood vessels. The arteries transmit blood containing oxygen to all parts of the point. The veins complete the circle by returning the blood containing carbon dioxide so that it can be exhaled. The capillaries are small blood vessels that connect these two at the level of organs andweaving. Both supply oxygen to the tissues from the arteries and return carbon dioxide to the veins.

In addition to the transfer of oxygen and carbon dioxide, the blood itself has many other functions. One of them is to supply substances that are produced in specialized organs to other parts of the body. Blood is made of plasma, which is usually water and a small amount of proteins, and create elements in about the same parts. The created elements include plates and cells such as red and white blood cells.

lymphatic vessels help maintain the balance of fluid in the body. They do this by gathering water that escaped from blood vessels, especially capillaries, and returns it to cardiovyscular system. Inside the lymphatic vessels, this fluid is called lymph. Lymph nodes clean the lymph and sometimes bother in cases of infection.

providing the body of immune defense is also the function of the circulatory system. The immune system is the division of the lymphatic system JAKO whole. Lymphocytes are immune cells that attack organisms like fungi and bacteria. Lymphoid organs such as spleen also help in immune function and lymphoid tissue helps the body to fight infection in exposed areas such as the respiratory system.
