What is the relationship between kidneys and homeostasis?

The relationship between the kidneys and the homeostasis is that the kidneys maintain the volume of blood, remove nitrogen waste and regulate pH. Homeostasis is the control of processes in the body to maintain a constant internal temperature that is essential for the functioning of living organisms. This requires the secretion of metabolic waste, maintaining water balance and regulating chemicals in the body.

The maintenance of a constant internal environment ensures that the organs of the body are able to function efficiently. Homeostasis is maintained when temperature, heart and respiratory speed, blood pressure, water balance, blood sugar levels and detoxifying processes at the permissible level. The skin is one of the organs that helps to maintain temperature, the heart maintains heart rate and ribs and membranes regulate breathing speed. Pankreas plays a role in maintaining blood sugar and liver levels vital to detoxifying the body. The task of the kidneys and maintenance of homeostasis is to regulate blood pressure and water balance. There are three systems that are important in excretion. The healthy kidney maintains homeostasis by removing harmful waste from the body and checking the balance of substances in the blood such as water, acids, ions and salt. The kidneys and homeostasis are vital for internal health and function.

Homeostasis requires a certain volume of extracellular fluid in which there is a certain balance of ions and pH.The anti-deuric hormone released from the pituitary in the brain is released into the blood when blood fluid levels are low. The hormone reduces water absorption in the kidneys and homeostasis is stabilized. The same hormone works if there is too much for homeostasis fluids in the blood. Less hormone is released, the kidneys are absorbed by more water and more urine is produced.
