What Is the Splenius Cervicis?

The clamp muscle starts from the lower part of the ligament ligament and the upper thoracic spinous process, and the muscle fibers are diagonally outward and upward. The lateral part of the line; the splenius cervicis is outside and below the cephaloceps, and stops at the transverse process of the upper three vertebrae. One side of the muscle contraction causes the head to turn to the same side, and bilateral contraction causes the head and neck to recline. Both muscles are innervated by the lateral branches of the posterior branch of the 2-5th cervical nerve.
