What Is a Panel Meter?
Panel meters, also known as panel meters or meter heads, are all panel-mounted meters (panel-mounted meters), and English Panel Meters. At present, meters can be roughly divided into three types from their fixing methods. One is a table meter. It is a meter that can be placed alone on the table without much fixing measures. One is a portable meter, that is, a meter that can be carried freely with you. There is also a panel-mounted meter, because such meters are installed and fixed on the screen of the device. Surface for easy viewing and operation, so it is called panel meter, it is only a functional part of the screen body device.

- The panel meter is actually a simplification of the multimeter. Generally, it only implements single function and single range measurement (except for automatic range). The most common is a panel meter that realizes DC voltage measurement.
- 1. According to the display mode: it can be divided into pointer table, LED digital tube display table (digital display table for short), LCD digital display table, LCD display table and so on. At present, there are mainly pointer tables and digital display meters on the market. The pointer table is used for simple display measurement. The digital display table has a simple digital head, and there are also intelligent digital display tables that can complete settings, control, transmission, and communication. Due to the low display brightness, digital display meters are mainly used in applications requiring low energy consumption and civilian appliances. LCD display meters are used in high-end digital display meters, such as paperless recorders, inspection meters, multi-function detectors, Man-machine interface, etc., can display Chinese and English, numbers, graphics and images.
- 2. It can be divided into many types according to function points, such as ammeter, voltmeter, power meter, frequency meter, electricity meter, temperature meter, pressure meter, flow meter, liquid level meter, tachometer, meter, etc. The following instruments should also be included, because these instruments are usually mounted on the panel of industrial equipment: counters, meter counters, thermostats, handheld controllers, regulators, human-machine interfaces, etc.
