What are IR glasses?
Infrared glasses or IR glasses are devices that allow the wearer to view infrared radiation, also called thermal or thermal radiation, emitted or reflecting objects. They allow individuals to be seen as the usual visual spectrum that the human eye can perceive. IR glasses are binocular, which means they have two eyepieces. They are available in a number of styles, from simple elastically bands to a complex and expensive night device (NVD) used by military and police forces around the world. Their use of the image intensifier distinguishes NVD from other types of night vision and infrared devices. These specific night vision glasses contain two eyepieces, energy source, photocathod tube or image and lens amplifiers. Image amplifiers using chemical and electrical processes amplify infrared and visible light passing through the lenses thousands.
cheaper IR glasses use only filters and lens. They are not electrically powered because there is no intensifying tube that requires a source of energy. As a result, cheap IR glasses are unable to deckIllow an infrared light to the same degree as a night vision device. A few IR glasses can be created using welding glasses with removable lenses and sheets of filter gel. Different types of filters can be used, some of which allow you to go through a little visible light, others that completely block it.
