What Is a Magnetic Coupler?

Magnetic coupling is also called magnetic coupling and permanent magnet transmission. It is mainly composed of copper rotor, permanent magnet rotor and controller. Generally, the copper rotor is connected to the motor shaft, the permanent magnet rotor is connected to the shaft of the working machine, there is an air gap (called an air gap) between the copper rotor and the permanent magnet rotor, and there is no mechanical connection for transmitting torque. In this way, a soft (magnetic) connection is formed between the motor and the working machine, and the change in shaft torque and speed of the working machine is achieved by adjusting the air gap. Due to the different air gap adjustment methods, the permanent magnet eddy current transmission device is divided into different types such as standard type, delay type, moment limit type, and speed regulating type.

Permanent magnet
The main features of this technology are:
1. Energy saving effect: 25% ~ 66%
2. Low maintenance workload, almost maintenance-free products, and extremely low maintenance costs.
3. Allow larger installation pairs
Compared with the inverter, the unique advantages, stability and comparability are higher than the inverter, especially prominent in the case of high power; when the load is required, high-speed operation, power is greater than 50KW under the conditions of replacing the inverter has obvious advantages; The adaptability and maintenance-free performance of the harsh working environment are not provided by the inverter; compared with the inverter, it can eliminate the motor's
Scope of application: The permanent magnet magnetic coupler is mainly applied to various types of mechanical equipment such as various types of fans, water pumps, material conveyors, bucket elevators, ball mills, hoists, crushers, mixers, straighteners and the like.
The main industries are:
1. Water industry / sewage treatment
2. Oil and gas
