According to the overall deployment of the pilot reform of the national education system, the pilot reform of the qualification examination and regular registration system for primary and secondary schools and kindergarten teachers is currently underway in the relevant provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. Yichang City, Hubei Province, and Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province are regular pilot registration areas for teacher qualification. Primary and secondary school and kindergarten teacher qualification certificates need to be registered once every five years. Non-pilot areas do not need to be registered once every five years. ^[9]

However, to a certain extent, people often have misunderstandings about the profession of teachers, thinking that the workload of teachers is limited to a few lessons per week, and it is particularly easy to work. The main burdens of teachers are as follows:

(1) Prepare lessons. The average time spent is four times the number of lessons in the class, and new entrants may be as much as ten times.

(2) Welcome various evaluations, assessments and inspections. The workload cannot be estimated. In the case of no pay at all, returning home to work overtime in the evening, staying in the unit to work overtime, and working overtime on the weekends of summer vacation, only one day off on National Day is a very common thing, and most teachers hate it.

(3) The so-called scientific research. For job titles, teachers usually have to publish dissertations, compile teaching materials, engage in projects and topics, some with funds, and others at their own expense. For teachers in ordinary schools, it is usually a loss of money to publish a dissertation. Teachers who publish a core journal dissertation may have to lose more than 1,000 yuan. It is estimated that the time spent by university teachers in scientific research is equivalent to the number of class sessions.

(4) Diligence and school activities. It takes about half the time of class.
