What is the PhD community?
PhD Fellowship is a granting money to a student who follows PhD. The community is provided by departments, universities, individuals and government or corporate entities. Some are simply rewards for excellent performance and are used to attract and maintain highly desired students. Other types of PhD scholarships offer money to be used for specific purposes, for students with special characteristics, or with the provisions that students perform some future task in exchange for financing.
Most academic programs seek to finance their doctoral students through a combination of scholarships and employment as assistants of research or teachers. The Community PhD is usually considered more desirable than academic employment because it allows students to focus more attention on their own research and studies. All scholarships grant a certain level of status because they indicate that the department, agency or individual think very much about the work of the student and potenutial.
University departments and universities usually have access to a number of scholarships to be granted at their discretion. This type of PhD community can usually be given to each student. In some cases, the rules stipulate that students do not have to receive such funding for more than a certain period of time.
Many types of doctoral students are financed by individuals or agencies outside the academic community to give another specific agenda. The family could organize a community in memory of a lost beloved person and to instruct those who are responsible for granting her to select a candidate with characteristics that remind them of a man or a woman of remembering the community. Corporations often endow scholarships to encourage qualified researchers to make these companies in the field of interest. Governments often finance research in areas that are expected to be interested in nationalsafety.
PhDSpolečnstvo can also be used as an instrument to offer educational opportunities to students from insufficiently represented demographic groups. Community for members of specific ethnic groups are common and are often financed by successful members of these ethnic groups. Community for women or minority students exist in many schools in an effort to attract more students from these groups.
Some varieties of PhD Community stipulate that the funds granted are to be used for a specific purpose. For example, the prestigious Fulbright-Hayes program was designed to finance research by research or study abroad. Such scholarships often require the recipient to provide feedback and research that is useful for the government or the agency that funds its travel.
