What is an environmental officer?
Environmental clerk (EHO) is a person who works to ensure public health. Some environmental officials work for private organizations while others are employed with government agencies. Although duties and responsibilities may vary depending on where the officer works, the work always involves ensuring that people's life and working conditions are safe and healthy. Most officers work for local government agencies responsible for public health and security. EHOS can also work for large companies, an army or independently as private consultants.
