What are the most common vision problems?

There are a number of recognized visual problems caused by a number of different things. Nejběžnější podmínky jsou obvykle způsobeny znetvořeným okem nebo stárnoucími očima a často jsou snadno opraveny. Astigmatism, myopia, hyperopia, presbyopia, glaucoma and cataracts are some of the more common vision problems. This eye disorder is characterized by an irregularly shaped cornea. For this reason, the light, which passes through the cornea, does not hit the retina correctly. Instead of directly focusing on how it should, the lights of light focus on several different places, causing certain parts of the image be out of focus. When the shape of an eyeball of a person is longer than it should be, the beams pass through the cornea in front of the retina. This condition causes objects and images that are far away, seem to be blurred, while objects that are close, such as the words in the book, are clearer.

Hyperopia or foresight is essentially the opposite. The eyeball is shorter than it should be, and the beams focus just behind the retina. This often causes objects that are close up, they appear blurred or excluded, while far from the objects are clear. This condition is usually presented during childhood, but many people compensate for this problem and usually no treatment at a young age is required.

As people age, hyperopia often develops into a problem known as presbyopia. Later in life, the eye of a person is less able to compensate for hyperopia. The foresight that these people experience as a child could return again.

Glaucoma is one of the bridge of common vision that people deal with how they age. When this eye problem occurs, the pressure of the fluid inside the eyeball begins to build. Symptoms of this disorder include Halos vision around lights and tunnel vision. This increasing pressure can cause damage to the optical nerve that transmits messages to the brain. IfThis condition is not treated, it may result in partial or complete blindness.

Another eye disorder common in older people is cataract. Cataract is a vague or cloudy area that has developed on the natural lens of the eyeball. This area can block the light rays that enter the eye and cause a number of vision problems, including blurred or cloudy vision and light sensitivity.

almost all vision problems can be diagnosed after a thorough eye test performed by an ophthalmologist. Treatment of astigmatism, nearsightedness, hyperopia and presbyopia usually includes some type of correction lenses such as glasses or contacts. There was also a somus with certain types of surgery, such as laser surgery.

mild cases of glaucoma may be treated with eye drops to alleviate intraocular pressure, but some patients may need surgery to remedy the problem. Some cataracts may not require any treatment at all, but if it disrupts everySurgery may be recommended. During the cataract surgery, the patient's natural lens is removed and replaced by synthetic.
