What is the beam?

The powered respirator of the cleaning air (beam) is a respirator controlled by a battery that cleans the incoming air before a person breathes it. The fan blows air through the filters contained in cassettes. The cleaned air then flows into a mask, hood or face that covers the nose and mouth of the person. The beam is used in industrial and commercial environment and standby respondents and healthcare workers. Although the word "respirator" is already part of the abbreviation of the abbreviation, the device is often referred to as the respirator of the beam. The battery drives the fan. It blows incoming air via filter cartridges to remove contaminants. Purified air then enters the user's respiratory zone using a mask, hood or face.

The beam components can be configured in different ways. Battery, fan and filter cartridges can be combined in one unit that can be worn by a belt around the waist or as a backpack. The respiratory tube brings the cleaned air to the face mask. This configuration is commonly used by emergency respondents.

In some configurations, the battery is a separate unit that can be worn on the belt. In this case, the blower and filter cartridges are incorporated into the face or hood. The whole face covers the whole face. Half of the face covers nose and mouth, but not eyes. The face must be firmly sealed to the skin to prevent contaminated air.

The purpose of the cleaning air respirator is to protect the wearer from inhalation of harmful substances in the air. Different types of respirators do this in different ways. The respirator supplied by the air-known as the supplied air respirator-waded in an uncontaminated air from the outside of a dangerous environment or from the canisters of the air by the non-prechanted respirator. The beam cleans the contaminated air by filtering. The filter cartridges are designed tailor -made for specific air contaminants.

One conventional filter captures and holds solid particles. This includes a large chicSticks such as dust, and microscopic particles called particles. The air particles are particularly dangerous because they can be inhaled deeply into the lungs. Smoke from everything that burns contains particles and can contain larger particles such as ash.

Filters that remove bacteria and viruses are used in the field of health care. Commercial and industrial professions may include exposure to dust, fibers, mold, spray color and various types of chemical pairs. Emergency respondents usually use filters designed to remove smoke or specific chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear contaminants.
