What is amurosis Fugax?

Amaurosis Fugax is a short loss of vision in one eye. This is sometimes known as temporary monocular blindness. Fleeting loss of vision can be nervous and can also be a sign that something can be really bad, so it is important to seek medical care even after the loss of vision is resolved. In some cases, temporary blindness may be an indicator of serious medical emergency. Once the cause is identified, it can be treated in the future to avoid other problems.

A number of problems can lead to fugax Amaurosis. One is a temporary interruption of blood supply to the eye.
