What is diverticulosis?

Diverticulosis is a condition in which the large intestine suffers from the presence of a diverticula, a small convex tissue bag that pushes out of the walls of the large intestine. Diverticula tends to form when a person ages and the pressure set in the large intestine causes tissue bulging. A person with diversion can have few symptoms or no symptoms at all. However, it is said that someone with diverticulosis has diverticular diseases. Often interchanged to diverticulitis, diverticulosis can be present in the body without complications.

With more frequent occurrence of diverticulosis, the patient can often walk without specific healing. Although benefits are not proven, a high fiber diet is often recommended to help regulate the CSF functionEV and, if necessary, flatulence can be treated with anti-spasmodic drugs.
