What Is Hypocholesterolemia?

Low-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol is defined as lower than normal levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, with or without elevated levels of cholesterol, triacylglycerol, and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol. Low-high-density lipoprotein cholesterolemia is closely related to the occurrence of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease (coronary heart disease). Heredity is the main influencing factor of the disease. It is mostly non-specific clinical manifestations. The diagnosis mainly depends on laboratory tests. Relying on medications, maintaining good habits also plays an important role.
