What is uterine metastatic cancer?

uterine cancer is a disease caused by uncontrolled cell growth in the uterus. If tumor cells are spread throughout the body, the disease is called metastatic uterine cancer. The uterine cancer includes both endometrial cancer and uterine sarcoma. These cells are known as endometrial cells and the lining itself is called endometrium. Most of this type of cancer occurs in women who are previous menopause. Suffering is usually aged 50 to 70 years. Cancer can produce symptoms such as pelvic pain, unusual bleeding and abnormal vaginal discharge.

The less common form of uterine cancer is the uterine sarcoma. This cancer affects the muscle cells in the womb. As with all malignant cancer, these cells multiply abnormally and can be fatal.

The place where the tumor begins is called the primary tumor. The primary tumor refers to the body of the body, ie the name of the uterus cancer. Cancer can be either benign or malignant. If the uterine cancer is suspected, Doctor may take biopsy of some cells or perform ultrasound. Metastatic cancer sometimes does not cause any symptoms. A biopsy taken from the uterus and otherH areas can confirm the presence of cancer. Tumors can also occur on ultrasound.

patients with uterine metastatic cancer may have to undergo surgery to remove tumors and hysterctomy to remove the uterus. Radiation treatment or chemotherapy can help kill all remaining cancer cells. Hormonal treatment can also help prevent the spread of tumors.
