What is Weil's disease?

Weil's disease is an infection that people can catch from animals, including pets such as dogs. Perhaps most commonly the disease spreads rats. Rats carry and eliminate the body called leptospira ictero-haemorragiae in the urine. This body carries 50 and 60% of all rats. If people are infected with this organism, they can make them very sick and even lead to death. Up to 10% of all cases of human infection resulted in death.

Formerly Weil's disease only infected people such as waste water or workers, although there were also incidents of agricultural workers and miners who were withdrawing about the disease. New research shows that people who carry out water activities such as caves and Potholers are also at risk. Rats normally live near water and other areas where they can find food such as farms, stables and banks of the river. The organism that causes disease in humans cannot live for a very long time in dry conditions but can top up for a certain length in damp or dampregions. Weak water kills the body. It can also enter through the lining of the nose or through the neck or digestive tract. The disease begins with fever, followed by muscular pain and pain. This is followed by loss of appetite and vomiting. The incubation period is 7 to 13 days.

Constant can experience bruises of the skin, nose bleeding, painful eyes and jaundice. Fever takes about a week and usually follows significant deterioration. Symptoms of Weil's disease can be easily confused with the flu. If the patient has a clean job, the possibility of condition may be overlooked in the early stages, but the blood test confirms the diagnosis of Weil's disease. Treatment is usually antibiotics of penicillin.

Weil'snemoc is treatable if detected in time. Many doctors in urban areas may not be familiar with this disease. If you have a reason to suspect that you have been infected, you should alert your doctor as soon as possible.
