What is a client virtualization?

Virtualization of a computer client is particularly useful in a testing or development environment. It allows system administrators and software developers to install and test applications while insulated from other machines, so they did not represent their networks.

For users, virtualization offers more flexible computer technology. This technology allows them to access their applications and data from anywhere in their local area (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or anywhere they have Internet access. Also because it can solve most of the problems with the client application centrally, users can benefit from smaller downtime.

The environment can also benefit from companies virtualizing their IT infrastructure. INIrnutalization reduces the number of physical machines needed to accommodate users of the organization. This usually reduces computational inefficiency, energy consumption, hardware disposal and space requirements, which reduces environmental impact.

It allows companies to provide highly available, secure and flexible access to critical data and applications without overhead of the cost and energy of the traditional physical environment on the desktop. Large businesses usually get as much as possible from virtualization, but as technology progresses, LL- to medium-sized smapodards, and even home computer users are likely to benefit from the advantages of virtualization.
