What is Crapware?
Crapware is a collective term used to identify any types of software that uses valuable resources on your computer's hard disk. In general, any software that is not necessary for the system function and is not used by a computer owner can be described as crapware. Some examples of this type of software include components loaded into the system before selling, which otherwise relate to the software that is downloaded from the Internet without the knowledge or user's consent.
Originally, the term "crapware" was used to define additional software that manufacturers would load on the hard disk of the system before sending the device to the retail socket. Together with such important software as the operating system and basic text processing programs, manufacturers often load other irrelevant data, such as software that register for a specific Internet service provider or basic postcard software. While the promotional nature and serving as a source of production for productionCE computer, crapware is often not required even necessary for the end user.
In recent years, Crapwar's definition has been spent on different types of adware and shareware that downloads when a user visits a website or that Piggy-Backs on free software that the user decides to download. Some forms of this bullshit are more or less harmless, with an undesirable advertising that appears in a separate window or appears when the user attempts to access a specific function of downloaded software. A wide definition of adware may also include spyware that monitors and reports back the habits for viewing the Internet. Hijackware that can insert into the system files and start resetting home pages and adding toolbars also collects confidential information that can be used by a third party.
Many viruses of protection today help to prevent downloadNew crap from the Internet. Other programs are aimed at wiping the crapware from the hard drive. While multiple computer manufacturers offer for sale systems without twill, many new computers are still loaded with undesirable promotional software. Currently, there are several software packages on the market to remove crapware that scan the hard drive, identify a wide range of crapware and remove it from the operating system in minutes.
