1. Please keep the motor in the vertical position at all times. Do not invert the pump tube and the motor after use to prevent liquid from flowing back into the motor and corrode and damage the motor.
2. Please do not run the pump as dry as possible, and stop the pump as soon as possible after the liquid in the barrel is pumped;
3. The connection between the motor and the pump tube should be installed in place, otherwise the coupling will be damaged. Repeated installation and disassembly are usually minimized, which can prolong the service life of the coupling, the elastic block of the coupling, the pump head, and the bearing.
4. If there is no flow or unstable flow of the pump, stop the pump immediately and check whether the pump shaft can rotate flexibly. If the pump is stuck and continues to turn on the electric motor, the electric motor will be damaged due to overload.
5. When using the speed regulating motors of PT and TB series, the larger the viscosity of the medium, the lower the speed. For the medium with high viscosity, the speed of the motor is too fast, which may cause heat and damage. For the viscosity range, please refer to and read random Operation manual; when the motor is stopped during operation, the switch is also invalid. Do nt worry, the motor is not damaged at this time, but because the working time is long and the temperature of the motor is too high. The protective switch inside the motor cuts off the power and waits for shutdown After 5-10 minutes of cooling, you can resume work. It is recommended to rest for 5 minutes every 20 minutes.
6. If there are often large particles or fiber impurities in the liquid, please install a filter at the bottom of the pump;
7. Before transporting a variety of corrosive liquids, please ensure that the liquid will not cause corrosion to the pump tube. It is strictly prohibited to use plastic pump tubes (PP and PTFE) and ordinary electric motors for explosion-proof applications.
8. When using a barrel pump in an environment with explosion-proof requirements, be sure to use a stainless steel pump tube with an air motor or an explosion-proof motor. It is best to ground the pump tube to prevent static electricity and sparks.
