What is a fire exercise?
Fire exercise is a training evacuation of the building. These evacuations can be carried out by family, business or government organizations and can be announced in advance or are performed as a surprise. During the exercise, the evacuation calmly leaves the building and reappears in a specified safe area. It is common to determine how long it takes to evacuate all of the building so that those who have responsibility to determine whether the drill suggests that the building could be safely evacuated in the case of real fire. Many countries require compulsory fire exercises in schools and other government buildings.
Alarm is often used to indicate the beginning of fire exercise. Those participating in the exercises are asked to treat it, because they would remain calm and quickly left the building in a planned way. Things are behind and the door is closed to help keep the fire contained.
There is usually a specified route for each room in which people have to use to achieve a safe area. Use of differentThe intended routes help make evacuation more efficient to ensure that everyone can achieve safety as quickly as possible. People are told that they go to the site of evacuation to prevent panic and confusion, which can lead to injuries or deaths in a real emergency situation.
Once everyone is charged in a safe area, fire drilling administrators will collect information, such as how long it took to perform the exercise and whether the procedures were properly followed. During the fire exercise, the fire brigade will sometimes be present, so the drill can be analyzed by professionals. Schools and other institutions often have minimal requirements that must meet to successfully complete fire drilling. If the organization has not performed the drill correctly, it may be necessary to repeat it.
In some institutions, such as nursing homes, laws prescribe the way the fire drill is carried out. These laws determine how often they must beExercise held and whether everyone has to participate. Some people, such as patients with bed in a nursing home, can be liberated. Laws do not apply to fire exercises carried out in private companies and houses.
