What is Fulcrum?
Fulcrum, or swivel point, is an area around which the lever turns. The lever is a heavy material length - or a rod - used to release strength or maintain weight at one end, while the pressure is developed to its other end. In other words, when the force is located at one end of the rod or handle that turns on the third point, or fulcrum, the strength or weight is governed at the other point of the lever.
A good example of the lever and its accompanying swivel point is a visible baby saw. The ends of the visible, where the participants sit, would be considered points one and two. Fulcrum is an area in the middle on which the lever balances. When one participant pushes his weight, the points of turning in the center support the movement of the other point on the lever, either lifting or reducing.
For example, See-Saw, the one-class lever, the weight is more or less distributed by evenly swivel point because it is generally located in the middle of the lever. Another word, Fulcrum is between force applied to one end or entry effort and the resulting force oroutput load. However, this is not always the case of lever and fulcrum relationships.
For example, in the second class lever, the location of the input effort is at one end of the bar, the pivot point is located at the other end of the bar and the output load is between the two forces. A good example of the second class lever is a diving plate on which one end of the board is the spring, because Fulcrum is located at one end and the force placed on the lever comes from human jumping up and down.
In the third grade levers, the output load is at one end, with the Fulcrum on the other and the input effort or the force is at a certain point between the two. Basards and baseball bats would be good examples of the third class lever in which the force is located in the middle, with the output load (sweeping or intervention) occurring at the opposite end of the rotary point.
levers and their accompanying fulcrum are considered one of the six simple machines. The idea of this power control is called the leverage that can be attributed to Newton's law of movement.
